Barbara Holden-Simpson

Barbara L. Holden-Simpson, age 69, of Riverside, CA, for 23 years passed away Friday, February 4, 2011, at her residence. Barbara was born January 27, 1942 in West Texas. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Lowe Hill and the late Vester Agnes (Osborn) Hill. She was a site receiver for Metropolitan Water for 29 years. She enjoyed everyone that was around her and once you meet her, you became part of her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nana and a friend. Her other passion was her dogs.

She is survived by her loving husband Joseph Simpson.

Three sons Kevin Charles Holden, Riverside, CA; Walter F. Holden of Norco, CA;Ernest Philip Holden, Riverside, CA; step daughters Cheryl Simpson, Janis Bucher, and stepson Allan Simpson.

Arrangements are being handled by Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Hemet , 1501 W. Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA where the family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 10, 2011. Services will begin at 10:00 AM. Graveside service will be private at Riverside National Cemetery.
