Barbara Ann Stewart, age 77, of Hemet, California passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Barbara was born in Denver, Colorado. She was the daughter of the late Walter Sutliff and the late Barbara (Curley) Sutliff. Barbara was a housekeeper for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was very active and loved the outdoors, spending time with her family, playing cards and board games, playing pool, playing bingo, listening to music and dancing, always wanting to help people. She loved to laugh and her smile would light up a room. She regularly gave to multiple charities. Her hobbies were putting together flower arrangements with artificial flowers and giving them out, housecleaning for herself and others, filling her yard with beautiful plants that she worked on daily. Due to her increased dementia, the last five months of her life were spent in a memory care center, where she was still helping others, planting flower gardens, and making a positive impact on the staff with her smile and kindness. She is loved and will be missed by the many lives she has touched.
She is survived by her loving husband Homer Eugene Stewart, her daughter and son in law Tina and David Vandewater, her son Andrew Robinson; her step children, Jennifer Underwood, James Stewart and Sarah Lundquist, her siblings, Tommy Sutliff and Donny Sutliff, 2 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 8 step grandchildren.
