Barry Francis White

Barry grew up in Los Angeles, attended Los Angeles High School and Los Angeles City College. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Barry was a self-employed small businessman in Los Angeles when he met his wife, Arlena.

He and Arlena created a life together in Hemet, California, where they enjoyed their partnership until their passing Feb. 1 and Feb. 2, 2021 respectively. Arlena is survived by six adult children whom Barry embraced.

Barry believed in family and would show he cared and loved his family in his own special way. Whenever he had time to share a few moments with you, he would. He always remembered the birthdays of his nieces and nephews, whether it be with a text, phone or hand-drawn card.

Barry was a resourceful, hard-working man, and he is missed by his family.

He is survived by his older brother, Lloyd White, and wife Berni, of Las Vegas; his sister-in-law, Diana White of Folsom; his three nieces and nephews: Jermaine and Jazmin, Nicole and David (who died Feb. 11, 2022) and a host of cousins. His younger brother James, his parents, and nephew Mario, preceded him in death.

A homegoing celebration was held April 11, 2021 in Palmdale honoring both Barry and Arlena.
