Great memories were made with this wonderful woman from "Crime Watch" to "The Lunch Bunch". A memory I would like to share is when Ernest and Louise were looking to purchase a home in Sun City. As the real estate agent was showing them the home directly behind ours Louise happen to peek over the fence. My wife Hazel and I were relaxing on the patio when Hazel and Louise struck up a friendly conversation, they became instant friends. When Louise would recall the memory of that day she would say that friendly conversation is the reason they chose their home. We all became good friends and neighbors, she will be greatly missed.

My Aunt Louise was such a wonderful lady and such a blessing to our family. Her heart was always giving and her love for me and my siblings was so incredibly tender. We felt unconditionally loved and accepted. I can bet anyone who she met felt the same way. Taking care not only of her husband and children, but her mother-in-law, Ada Bridges, for many years with patience and great love, as if she were her own mother. We will never forget this sacrifice and all her hard work. Her devotion to her husband and our family was so amazing. Uncle Ernie couldn't have found a better wife and partner. My mother was not blessed with loving in-laws, but Louise was the exception. She was the sister Doris never had and my mom is so grateful for her sweet and loving attitude. The eternal optimist and always good natured even through life's darkest times, her memory stands as an example for us all. She touched so many through her work and her life. It was my true privilege to know her and love her. Surely she will be rewarded in the afterlife for being such a loving person. Our lives will never be the same, but her love lives on in our hearts forever. My love to you all today as you place her at rest.

2G was always so patient and sweet with us great grandkids and great great grandkids. We were able to visit last summer and I am so thankful that not only did I get to spend time with her but that Audrina did. I know Audrina is hurt by this but we look at it as though it is a great gift that we were able to know her. Thank you so much Grandma Betty and Grandma Lola for everything.

Grandma Betty was always an adventurer and loved seeing all she could and learning as much as possible. We have many fond memories exploring southern California with her as well as just chatting while watching her favorite crime shows. She was a lovely person; so very thoughtful and kind. She loved catching up with myself and her great great granddaughter Alexis. She always had words of encouragement that help me get through tough days. We are going to miss her so very much. I will forever cherish the summers spent with her and am grateful I got to call this wonderful lady my grandmother.

my grandma was a great person to be around and spread happiness wherever she went. every year my mom and i would go to california to go see the grandmas and i just remember her telling the stories about living on the farm, the stories and adventures her and her husband had, and the stories that made her into the woman she became. she would always show me her teacups and would watch me pick the lemons off the tree in the front yard. my mom and i would call her 2G for short. she taught me life lessons i will take forward on with my life and i will always have her in my heart wherever i go.

Betty Louise Bridges was my Great Grandma. She came to my school programs and birthday parties. I am sad and will miss her so much. She was the best. She lived 88 years which is great and I will always love her for ever . She was the sweetest great gradma in the world. I love you GreatGreat!

My Grandma was always so sweet to my brother, Fred and I.  Happy or not her beautiful smile was there every time we saw her. She was such a wonderful person, she was loved by everyone.  She knew the right things to say in any situation.  She is a great loss to our family. There was only one of her kind and she was my Grandma for 50 years! She will be in my heart and in my thoughts always. Love You Grandma.

Betty Louise, I knew as Louise... my friend and neighbor. Louise was a sweet and dear friend, I loved listening to her stories. My favorite is the journey of her family traveling from Michigan to California. I later learned that her daughter Lola and I attended the same High School (small world). I will never forget her beautiful smile and the deep love she had for her family. My thoughts and prayer go out to those left behind I know she will be watching over you.

The sweetest, strongest woman I've ever met. Betty Louise would talk to me for hours about loss after my son passed away. So grateful for her compassion.

Betty Louise would open her house, her arms and her heart to anyone in need! A very special woman who will never be forgotten!
