Betty was born December 6, 1921 in Sturgis, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Chester Arthur Culley and the the late
Anna Belle (Rauch) Culley. She was married to late Thomas Lex Bynum for 26 years and had six children. They were business owners of a jewelry store for 20 years.
Mom remarried Lenard G Nash after becoming a widow. Betty and Lenard spent their golden years at Hemet West Community in Hemet, California.
She is survived by a brother, Chet Culley; a son, Tom Bynum; 3 daughters, Jeanne Boyd, Patricia Dowalter, and Janet Steely; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 7 great great grandchildren. Mom was so proud of this long list that she “started”.
Mom was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Culley; daughters, Tauna Garrett and Elaine Bynum; grandsons, Greg Chapman and John Michael Steely.
