Betty Ann Walker

Betty was born in Newark, New Jersey on June 8th, 1959 to Anne and John Montgomery, and was a 1977 graduate of Orange High School. This is where she met the notable, and funny, Jonathan Walker.

Jonathan moved to California in the fall of 1976, and patiently waited for his high school sweetheart to soon join him after her graduation a year later in the spring 1978. They soon got married 6 years later, and had 2 beautiful daughters both born in August of 1988 and 1997.

Betty was in the surety bond insurance industry for 42 years beginning in 1979, where she launched her career at Pacific National. And after many years of perfecting her skill and trade, she ended her career at RLI Surety at

the time of her passing.

She was a loving, and devoted wife and mother. She loved to vacation with her friends and family, was well known for her infectious laugh and smile, her stylish wardrobe, and coordinating jewelry. She absolutely loved to dance and enjoyed many types of performing arts and musicals from Cirque du Solei and the Nutcracker, to concerts in Vegas. She enjoyed watching football with the family and had plenty of Broncos gear to prove it. She had just recently gotten back into golfing, and we anticipated bonding with her with one of her favorite sports to play. Betty was also really looking forward to her plans for retirement in a few years with Jonathan, and of course, her future grandchildren.

Betty was a smart, multi-talented, beautiful, and courageous individual that always lit up any room she entered; you just couldn’t help but smile. She touched many lives with her generosity and passion for life.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Monday January 31st, 2022 beginning at 10:00 A.M.; where flowers, donations, and condolences may be offered.
