Billie Dempsey, of Sun City, CA passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011. Billie was born in Lubbock, Texas to James and Beryl Green. She was baptized and raised in the United Methodist Church and stayed involved throughout her life.
Billie loved traveling; she had enjoyed trips to Hawaii, Israel, England, and Ireland in particular. Her family describes her as a person that was always going, whether shopping, going to museums or simply going out to lunch. She was successful in her 30 years as a Vice President in Savings and Loan. She was very involved in the Chamber of Commerce in Chula Vista for many years and was also the treasurer for Soroptimist.
Billie is survived by her daughter Julia, son-in-law Carl and 2 grandchildren, David and Rebecca.
