

Cecil Mary Henderson was born on February 10, 1931 to Lillian Heart and Cesar Strange. She was raised by her great-grandmother Sealy. She grew up in Tyler, Texas where she met and married Winston T. Henderson in 1947; to that union was born six children.
Mrs. Henderson attended Butler College and played in the band. She was the owner of a tax agency for 35 years and also worked as an Electronic Bonder in the Aerospace Industry for over 18 years.
She received Christ as her Savior at an early age and was devout Christian who loved and trusted in the Lord. She attended church in Los Angeles, CA and moved to Perris, CA in 1987 where she attended the church ran by Rev. Abraham Capers Jr. She loved all of her children abundantly. Cecil was fervently named "Nae - Nae" early on and took the role of grand parenting more serious than anything else.
She was preceded in death by her mother Lilian Hart, husband Winston T. Henderson, and only daughter Kimmie Carnell Durden.
She leaves to cheris her memory, her children, Eugene Henderson (Darlene), Ronald Henderson (Rose), Anthony (Tony) Henderson (Tonita), Paul Henderson (Alice), and Gary Henderson (Sharen); her grandchildren: Tiffeny Durden, Nigel Henderson, Mia Henderson, Deon Henderson (Meredith), Alicia H. Read, Toni H. Jones (Aaron), Jovon Henderson (Tasha), Kristal Hamilton, Paul Henderson, Jr., Jazz'e Henderson, Gary Henderson (Shameyka) and Ryan Henderson (Ashley), Troy Henderson and Derek Henderson; 30 great grandchildren, her first cousin Shirley, uncle Butchy, and a host of family and friends.
