Charles Francis Lemesh

Charles Francis Lemesh, “Crazy Charlie” age 73, of Riverside, California, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019, in Riverside, California. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 30, 1946 to the late Victor and Rose Marie Lemesh.

Charlie served his country honorably in the Air Force. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He earned an Associate in Arts degree from San Bernardino Valley College. He began his career in telecommunications with GTE and started his own successful business, Comm-Pre-Tech. He retired after 50 years of dedicated service.

He volunteered his time with several non-profit organizations within the community, most recently Lighthouse for the Blind. He was a classic car enthusiast and belonged to the Old Skool 66 Cruzers Car Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working on his many projects. Charlie will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his sense of humor, energy, compassion, generosity, and work ethic.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 33 years, April Lemesh; children, Katie Parker, Daryl Lemesh (Gemma) and Darin Lemesh (Christina); daughter in law, Emily McFall; 13 grandchildren; sister, Roseann Zgorliski (Mitch); 3 nieces and a nephew; and many treasured friends. Charlie was preceded in death by parents, Victor and Rose Marie Lemesh and son, Thomas McFall.

Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Jones Mortuary, Moreno Valley, California. Visitation will be at St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church, 9135 Banyan St., Rancho Cucamonga, California 91737 on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 5:15-6:30p.m., Funeral Mass starts at 7:00p.m. Committal service will be at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 10:45a.m. Light reception will follow at the Lemesh family home.
