

Chris was a dedicated wife to her husband George Marquez of fifty one year's. Together they raised their two children Kim and Michael. They were also blessed with seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She loved beauty and those who knew her remember how she was always sure to be dressed up with her hair and makeup done perfectly. Likewise her home was always decorated and inviting, in which she loved to have gatherings of family or friend's.
Her love for life was evident by how she would capture every moment with pictures or video's. Her ability to remember things in such detail and her talent for writing documented a lifetime of stories and experiences.
Music and dancing were always part of her life. She and George were Spanish dancers for four seasons in the Ramona pageant. Music was always being played in the Marquez household and it was quite common for she and George to break into a little dance.
She loved to give gifts she made personally, it brought her joy. She was always clipping pictures, scriptures, news stories or silly jokes to share with others, always with handwritten messages. Her love for sewing and crafts will be another things she will be remembered for.
She was a woman of strong faith and openly shared her love of Jesus with other's. She was active in the seventh day Adventist and with her amigas prayer group from Our Lady of the Valley.
Chris will truly be missed but never forgotten. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
