Claudine was my teenage friend and my roommate during a 4 month study abroad in Jerusalem. She was funny and fun, and I loved being her friend. I always stood next to her during choir performances so I could follow her voice and sing the alto part (I am not a great singer, but she sang beautifully). We re-connected a few years ago and I am so grateful for that. I am so sorry for your loss. I am blessed to have known Claudine.

I am saddened by the news of Claudine's passing. She was always a good friend to me during our years of Jr. High and High School. Claudine made friends easily, had a bright smile, and did her best in everything she decided to do. She displayed her artistic flair in designing and writing her fabulous Christmas cards. I was one of those fortunate people to receive a card every year for many years. I will miss those cards. I express my love to Claudine's sweet family and to her extended family. I am sure she will be missed terribly.

OUR APARTMENT IN ILLINOS
I will always remember the day I met Brent and Claudine Taylor! It was moving day and I went to welcome them to their new home we quickly became friends. I was going thru my adjustment of being a single Mom and found out quickly that Brent and Claudine we members of the LDS church. I had grown up in Glenview and was more than willing to to share with them where church was shopping good places to eat ect. I had two small boys Joey and Jimmy. Brent and Claudine were awaiting the birth of their dear sweet Justin. I remember Claudine's mother came to help with her new little boy and I got to show her around. I often worried about that wondering if Claudine was upset with me for doing so. Brent was a student in school and Claudine naturally took to being a new Mom it look too easy for Claudine. I always admired how Claudine could take the most simplest object and create the most gorgeous useful decorative piece that had you wondering how did she do that? I would visit with Brent and Claudine almost daily. Claudine was too kind to tell me to "GET LOST LADY" I moved to Nevada and didnt have a phone, I became engulfed in my "new" life. I then moved to Utah and lived there for 11 years. I remarried and moved to Idaho and lost touch with Brent and Claudine. I recently joined facebook and a very dear friend whom also was friends with Claudine in that ward posted on Monday that Claudine had passed away. Instantly all the wonderful memories we had as neighbors filled my head. I began to cry. Altho much time has passed I will never forget how Claudine had made me laugh when I needed a laugh, cry when I needed a cry . I couldn't help but laugh when she laughed there was something about it that made you laugh more! Claudine and Brent had two more children I see Dylan and Jessica how wonderfully lucky children! Justin you were a tiny baby when our parents moved but what a sweet little one you were and continue to be. Dylan and Jessica altho I wasn't able to meet you both, you were born of goodly parents and will be amazing whatever you choose to do. Brent it will be certainly hard to process all that has happened continue to let your friends and family support you and your children . Family and friends so want to be there to up-lift you or to just let you cry. My new husband and I were sealed for all time and eternity in the Idaho Falls temple and isnt it a wonderful blessing you will see Claudine again! Claudine will always have a special place in my heart.I always looked forward to Friday as she worked at the bank and we would visit for a few minutes it seemed to make the work day go by faster. What an amazing self-less woman she was. I also failed to mention oh my what a cook !! Claudine was so organized and kept everything so pristine! I only wished I had reconnected with you both prior to her passing. I am so sorry for your loss what an angel here on earth Claudine was. I'm sure she is finding a project to do and complete in the Celestial Kingdom. Ive give my e-mail and hope to visit on facebook sometime. My Dear Taylor Family : My deepest sorrow for the loss of Claudine what a wonderful friend she was. I'm so sorry we lost contact. I recently joined facebook I wish we could of connected before her passing. I will always cherish the time we spent in Glenview, IL .
