Daniel Bermudez

Daniel Bermudez was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on August 15, 1925. He was one of eight children born to Jose and Rosa Bermudez. Daniel was a hard worker and devoted to his family. In 1950 he and Lydia joined in holy matrimony. They were married for 45 years when she went to be with the Lord.

Daniel was the proud pastor of Iglesia de Dios Rehobot in the Detroit Metropolitan area until he moved to Moreno Valley, CA in 1982 where he also served as pastor of the Disciples of Christ Church in Riverside, CA.

God blessed him with a new love and he was married to Luz in 1993.

Pastor Daniel Bermudez passed away on July 6, 2013. He is now resting with his Lord.

The faith, love, humor and memories he shared will forever be present in the hearts of those who knew him and he will be missed by the many who appreciated his thoughtfulness and kindness.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Jose and Rosa; Wife: Lydia; and Siblings: Matilde, Juaquin, Gil, Felix and Esther. Son-in-Law: Ricardo Gutierrez.

To forever cherish his memory is his loving wife of 20 years, Luz E. Bermudez. Children: Theresa E. Bermudez, Daniel D. Bermudez, Jose R. Bermudez (Hildelisa), George L. Bermudez (Maribel), Hector A. Bermudez (Zenaida), and Lydia Gutierrez. Siblings; Samuel Bermudez, Ezequiel Bermudez and Moises Bermudez. As well as 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
