David Eugene Hussey

David Eugene Hussey passed into the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, at the age of 64 on Monday June 26th, 2023. David was a man of integrity and compassion; it showed in the way he loved, lived, and cared for his family and friends. Dave's integrity was also evident in his law enforcement career of 29 years. During this time, he worked for the Riverside County Sheriff's Office and the District Attorney's Office, touching countless lives through upholding justice and making Riverside County a better place. David loved spending time with his family and friends, and if you ever met him, he would not stop telling you about his amazing wife and son. Dave enjoyed traveling, deep-sea fishing, hunting, camping, biking, reading, and never missed a good cup of coffee at any time of day. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Susan, and his caring son, Tyler, as well as numerous relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held in his honor at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship Church on Thursday July 27th at 10 AM. The address to the church is 34180 Rancho California Road, Temecula, CA 92591. There will also be a livestream of the service on the church's website (ccbf.net). Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Samaritan's Purse (samaritanspurse.org).
