David Joseph Mora, age 93, of Garden Grove, California, passed away, Tuesday, June 24, 2014, in Orange, California. He was born on Monday, August 9, 1920 in Perris, California to the late Santos Mora and the late Victoria (Ledesma) Mora. He was the loving husband of the late Gertrude Mora, who passed away on May 20, 2012. They were married for over 71 years. David was a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus, Hemet and Moreno Valley. He was a devoted parishioner of the Catholic Church. His greatest joy in life was his family; family always came first. He especially enjoyed quality time with his grandchildren. He will forever be loved, but greatly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Corrina Bone (George Bone) and Maria Shores(Howard Shores); 3 grandchildren, David Bone, Ashley Bone, Gayle Dockham; 1 great-grandchild, Roland Dockham; brother, Santos Mora and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Mora; parents, Santos Mora and Victoria Mora and son, Bill Mora and grandson- David Mora.
