

David Grant Williams Sr. affectionately called "DG" was born on Tuesday, December 27, 1949 in Monroe, Arkansas. He was the eighth child born to Raymond Williams and Willie Mae (Beasley) Williams. DG was a dedicated family man; there is nothing that he would not do for those he loved. He was a truck driver for over 30 years. In May 2012 he dedicated his life to Christ and never stopped praying and believing in the Word of the Lord.
Anyone that knew DG, knew that he was the best domino player in the world. He would call himself a "Dominoligist"". He also enjoyed watching sports, especially basketball "Go Lakers" as well as listening to music.
On Wednesday, October 30, 2013,in Riverside, California David Grant Williams Sr. went home to be with the Lord. He will forever be loved and cherished.
Proceeding him in death are his parents, siblings, Ethel Williams-Miller, Raymond Williams Sr., Rosa Lee Williams, Chester Williams, LeAndrew Williams Levester "Buck" Williams and Mercy D. Williams-Smith; grandson, Antonio Williams Jr. "Lil Dollar".
He is survived by his children, Antonio (Renee) Williams Sr., Donna (Gary) Wiliams-Mason, David (Aundrea) Williams Jr., Jason Williams and Jennifer (Alfonzo) Hackett; grandchildren, Justin (Jasmine) Blackburn, Antonio Williams III "Tre", LaDonna Whittley, Chantel Williams, Garyonna Mason, Kiara Humphrey, DeAmber Hackett and Jayla Hackett; great-grandchildren, Jayden Blackburn and Jordyn Blackburn; brother, Elgin Williams as well as numerous other family members and friends.
To God be all the Glory for another solider has gone on; let us rejoice and celebrate DG's life and continue to live ours in such a way that we may one day see him and our Saviors face once again.
