Mr. Donald "Joe" Duncan was born in Osage, Arkansas on September 20, 1935 to Mr. Frank and Mrs. Ollie Duncan. Joe was a loving and energetic child who grew up to be a magnificent, loyal and brave man, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Joe enlisted in the army in 1958 where he gained the trust and respect of his comrades. Joe's love for his country and his family was absolute, his companionship provided comfort and security for his loved ones. Joe's family has many joyous memories of him; Joe would build his girls many contraptions from mini bikes to dune buggies, one contraption that brought many blissful adventures was his construction of the family motor-home out of a bus. Joe built his steel company from a one car garage to a large and successful steel business, working for Disneyland, SeaWorld, colleges, including many government jobs. Joe's dedication to his family and his tremendous work ethic will always be valued and prized by his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Duncan and his affectionate daughters; Lisa Duncan (Ken) McBride, Karen Duncan (Dave) Eshom, Theresa Duncan (David) Smith, and Alice Duncan (Kevin) Smith and by his 13 grandchildren and his 18 great-grandchildren. When the days grow long with missing Joe, they too will have to remember to take advantage of everyday they are blessed with and remember to always love life and each other the way Joe loved them.
