Interment will be at Riverside National Cemetery alongside Perry G. Baker, her husband
Ms. Baker was born in St. Louis Missouri and lived in Hemet for 19 years. The last five and half years were spent in New Jersey. With her mother, Ms. Baker moved to Los Angeles in 1940 where she graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1944 and married Perry Baker. Her life was devoted to community service. She was PTA President for Carr Elementary in Torrance, President of the Torrance PTA Council, served eight years on the Torrance Board of Education, served on the Torrance Fine Arts Commission and Las Vecinas, member of the Seven Hills ladies Club and the Seven Hills Shuffleboard Club.
Ms. Baker is survived by two sons, Richard, of New Jersey, and Ronald of Nevada, one grandchild and two great-grand-children.
