

California. Dorothy was born on September 30, 1926, in Brooklyn, New York, to her late parents, William
H. Taylor and Isabella (Holgan) Taylor.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband James Harris, son Michael D. Valentino, her sister Joan
E. Case and her brother William H. Taylor. She is survived by her children; Charlotte A. Victor, Sheryl A.
Olesen, Barbara J.Moose, Charles R. Valentino, Joseph W. Valentino, Thomas G. Valentino, Jeffrey S.
Valentino, Terry L. Valentino and her two siblings Carol Taylor-Perritt and Robert F. Taylor along with
many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and her cat Trouble.
Dorothy worked for the California Department of Corrections as an accounting technician. After retiring
she traveled all across the United States and Canada in her RV. She enjoyed going to the theater and
even acted in a small production. She also loved her volunteer work at Menifee Valley Medical Center.
Most of all Dorothy loved her Dodgers. She claimed that they moved from Brooklyn to Los Angeles in
1957 because she had moved to California in 1956.
Dorothy was very much loved by all and will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery on December 3rd at 1pm.
