Dwayne was joined in holy matrimony November 26, 2011, to the love of his life and best friend, Eboni Thomas. The union of Dwayne and Eboni joined their separate families together with love.
He attended Carson High School in Carson, California graduating in 1987. He then attended Los Angeles Trade Tech College in downtown Los Angeles.
Dwayne's working career started in the private sector working as a security guard in the Los Angeles Jewelry District. He worked there while attending LA Trade Tech. He then became a bus driver for the Los Angeles Rapid Transit District (RTD now renamed MTA), and later transferred to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) in Texas. It was in Texas, where Dwayne decided to pursue a career as an independent cross-country truck driver. He drove for over 15 years, seeing all corners of America while enjoying his favorite music. He was very proud to be self-employed.
After health issues arose, Dwayne became a local truck driver in Riverside and Moreno Valley. A true family man, he enjoyed being close to his family and off the road. He and Eboni enjoyed travel, music, and cooking together. Dwayne attended Crossword Church in Moreno Valley, with his wife at his side.
Dwayne was quick witted, humorous; a gentle, and kind soul with a laid back and easy approach to life. Dwayne believed in prayer and faith in God's all knowing plan. The Lord called him home early in the morning on Saturday, June 25, 2016. At the time of his passing, Dwayne resided peacefully in Perris, California.
Though he left us too soon in life, Dwayne leaves a multitude of memories for his family to cherish. He is survived by his only remaining sibling Lanette Randolph, two daughters Chauntelle and Alexandria; Eboni's two daughters Mia and Aniya; stepdaughter Shenica Collins by a previous marriage; niece and God daughter Camille Taylor; God son Delvon Silva; an aunt Portia Harmon; many cousins, and a wealth of friends.
God Bless You All!
