

He is survived by his three children, Lorrie Peterson of Murrieta, Lancie Lara of Menifee and Larry Lincoln of Oak Park, CA, as well as four step-children; Joe Roberts, Jack Roberts, Tim Roberts and Emily Kruse. Mr. Lincoln is also survived by his two brothers, Richard Dale Lincoln and James David Lincoln. In addition, Mr. Lincoln leaves behind fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lincoln was born in South Connellsville, Pennsylvania and was the son of the late Edward M. Lincoln, Sr. and Floe Hall Lincoln. His two sisters, Lucille Compton and Connie Comley also passed away in recent years.
Mr. Lincoln was a decorated veteran of the Second World War in which he served with distinction as a nose gunner in B-24 bombers as a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was stationed in Foggia, Italy and assigned to the 356th Bomb Group, 747th Bomb Squadron. He flew 50 missions over Nazi occupied Europe and as a result of his actions received the Air Force Medal with 3 oak clusters, Good Conduct Medal and European/African Middle Eastern Service Medal with 7 bronze stars.
After returning from the war, he worked for the Anchor Hocking Glass & Cap Corporation at both the South Connellsville, Pennsylvania and South Gate, California plants. He retired from there in 1979 after 38 years.
Mr. Lincoln was previously married to Jean Sullivan Lincoln, who passed away in 1966, Leeanna Morgan Lincoln, who passed away in 1979 and Mary Roberts Lincoln who passed away in 1993.
He has been a Mason for 45 years, having belonged to the Masonic Lodges in Connellsville, PA, Fullerton, CA and most recently the Sun City Masonic Lodge.
