Edward Joseph Nelson, 81 of Hemet, California passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at home. He was born on Tuesday, March 23, 1937 to Joseph and Lillian and was married to the love of his life, Edith Nelson for over 57 years. Edward enjoyed the outdoors with fishing, hunting and off-roading. His family was most important to him and he tried to spend as much time as possible with them, teaching the grandkids and great grandkids the skills he had learned. Edward is described by his family as loving , caring, family oriented but was not shy about sharing his opinion at times. Surviving is his wife, Edith Nelson; son George Nelson and daughter-in-law Patti; son John Nelson and daughter Teri Nelson; brother Robert Nelson and sister Linda Boucher; four grandchildren Matt, Jennie, Lyndsay and Brandon and six great grandchildren Chace, Brodie, Tanner, Styles, Tatum and Sawyer.
