Edward Henry Riemer, Sr., age 92 of Murrieta, California, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. He was born Friday, September 12, 1919 in Pensacola, Florida, the son of the late Gustav and Martha Lewitski Riemer.
He is a veteran of World War II, having served as a sergeant in the US Army Air Force. He was a purchasing agent and manager for various southern California aerospace companies for 34 years. A resident of Sun City for 22 years, he was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Edward was preceded in death in 2008 by his wife, Evelyn. They were married for 67 years.
Surviving are son, Edward H Riemer, Jr.; daughters, Terri Waddle, Cindy Haynes and Darlene Wior; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held privately with interment in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California.
