Elizabeth "Betty" Ellen Gordon, age 85, of Hemet, CA, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, CA.. Betty is how everyone knew her by. She was born February 10, 1932 in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Edwin Morton Tomlinson and the late Iva Yearsley (Callahan) Tomlinson. Betty was an administrative assistant with the Lake Elsinore Water Department. She was a member of the Elks, she was a past president of the Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Jack J. Gordon, her sisters Ellen Brooks, Ann Berry and her son Steven Gayne Griffin.
She is survived by her son Donald E. Griff daughter in law Suzanne Griffin, step daughter Kathy Hollar, two sisters, Jean Werner, Florence Mayer and four grand children.
