Elizabeth A. Goldschmidt, age 87, was a 33 year resident of Wildomar, California. She entered eternal life on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She entered life on Sunday, December 26, 1926 in London, Ontario, Canada. Betty was the daughter of the late Joseph Watson and the late Edith Schouler Watson.
Betty retired from Burroughs Corporation where she'd worked as a printer. She was a Commander in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and a volunteer for 12 years at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Long Beach. She and George were members of two yacht clubs.
Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Oatman.
Betty is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, George Goldschmidt; 3 step-children, Sue Ivemeyer, Patty Guthrie, Steve Goldschmidt; niece, Karen Castaneda; and 2 nephews, Bryan Oatman and Steven Oatman.
