Ernest Morales

Age 53, died Friday, May 11th, 2012, at his home in Fallbrook, CA, in his favorite chair following several heart attacks occurring unnoticed over a period of two weeks leading to a final fatal heart attack. He was born in México, on a train somewhere between Jalisco and México D.F., on November 2, 1959. Ernesto spent his early years working on a farm which is located on the side of a volcano near Fresnito, Jalisco (Volcán de Colima.) He worked from an early age doing manual labor on the farm to help his mother, grandma, aunt, and uncle. Ernesto arrived in the United States when he was 13; he knew very little English. Despite not having citizenship and not knowing the language, Ernesto had multiple academic achievements which made him a self-made intellectual and successful entrepreneur. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cal State San Bernardino, his Associate’s Degree, his G.E.D., and his contractor’s license in Air Conditioning. Aside from his more formal achievements, Ernest was an expert in philosophy; more specifically, he studied Espinoza extensively. Known as Ernie to everyone, he was also a successful entrepreneur who owned his own company named “Ernie’s Air Conditioning.” Ernie lived to work; Ernie worked to lived. Ernie worked every day and sometimes at night on his rental properties, air conditioners, and any other endeavor that someone needed help with. He could fix any problems: cars, heaters, roofs, mental problems and philosophical problems. Ernie was always around to help anyone who needed it. Surviving family members include his wife of 33 years, Susan Lynn Morales of Fallbrook, CA; his daughter Angelina Claudio who resides in Moreno Valley, CA, with his grandson Raymundo Claudio III; his father-in-law, Alvin L. Brown of Aguanga, CA; his brother Jorge Zepeda of Anaheim, CA; and his aunt Abigail Rosenberg of Palmdale, CA. Funeral Services are planned for Saturday, May 19th, in Hemet, CA, 11:00 AM for the public viewing, 2:00 PM for the service. All are welcome. For more information call (951) 658-9497.
