Esther McPherson

Esther Marie Kazaroff McPherson, 97 of Hemet California passed away peacefully in her sleep, on March 11, 2020. She was born November 16, 1922 in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of the late John Kazaroff, and the late Alice Gonzales Kazaroff.

Esther worked at March Airbase during World War 2 and later in retail. She was proceeded in death by her husband Ray McPherson and her siblings Jimmy Kazaroff and Benny Kazaroff.

She is survived by her son, Terry McPherson, daughter in-law Judy, three granddaughters, Sheri Hardy, Cathi Bradley, and Kami Helmsworth, ten great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, one niece, two nephews and their families.

Esther loved music from the Big Band era. In her younger days, she enjoyed seeing their performances in person at night clubs and other venues with her husband, Ray. Her son Terry plays trumpet and she was his biggest fan. She attended as many of his concerts as possible, always hoping to get a front row seat. Esther liked to talk with strangers, and they would comment on her friendly, feisty personality. Her favorite pass times were watching Angels baseball on TV, going to the movies, shopping, and reading the daily newspaper.

Esther had a strong faith in God.
