

Felipe Coronado, 87 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. He was born on Friday, February 15, 1929 in San Luis, Potosi, Mexico to the late Monico and Maria Coronado. Felipe is survived by his devoted wife, Longina Coronado, 8 children, Mary Contreras, Armando Coronado, Elvia Villarreal, Phil Coronado, David Coronado, Joel Coronado, Elias Coronado, and Samuel Coronado, 24 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, 3 sisters, and 5 brothers. Felipe was preceded in death by one brother and his parents.
Felipe loved to be at home with his family. He was also very involved in church ministry. During his lifetime he served as pastor, assistant pastor and deacon in churches he attended . He was a faithful, active member of Jericho Church, which is now called New Beginnings, in San Jacinto. Felipe was a man of strong faith and family. Felipe also loved the outdoors. Taking his family to local parks and working in his garden and on his lawn were his favorite pastimes.
Felipe was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at McWane Family Funeral Home at 9:30am. The family will receive friends at 8:30am prior to the service. Interment will be in San Jacinto Valley Cemetery following the service.
