Frances Bird Figgins left this world to be with her heavenly Father on the 30th of November, 2012. Fran was born in Los Angeles, California on the 18th of August, 1926, and lived most of her life in California. She leaves her loving children, Grace Cockrum (Russell), Catherine Ferguson (Jim), Vicky Soldano (Vince), Ruth Heathcote (Dave), Jean Willard (Lex), Dave Bird (Jean), Joyce Snapp (Randy), Jimmy Bird (Diana) and step-children Donna Rae Moulder (Ken) and Skip Figgins (Lois, and sister in law, Virginia Shelton
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of their 10 children, Keith Bird, second husban
Don Figgins, children Maria Bird Ziegler (Blake) and Bobby Bird. Her parents Grace Watson Rollins and James Rollins. Sister, Marie (Sissy) Ilse, and brother James Rollins Jr.
Fran's 26 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren were the highlights of her lif
The family would like to thank the many gracious people involved with her care through the years and special thanks to Samantha, the sister of our hearts.
Her internment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Los Angeles.
