

Francis "Frank" Neely Miller, age 82, graduated to Heaven on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at his residence in Canyon Lake, California. Frank was raised on a country farm in Puxico, Missouri. He was the youngest of seven children. He served in the Navy during World War II as an aerial gunner and flew in a weather reconnaissance Navy squadron in the South Pacific. He was also a proud member of the Burbank Police Department from 1956 to his retirement in 1984. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, restoring cars, playing tennis and was the ultimate handyman. With the move to Canyon Lake his love of training and riding horses was rekindled. Frank is survived by his wife of 49 years, Beverly Miller as well as their children Jim and Steve Miller. Frank also left a loving legacy with his six granddaughters. Arrangements have been made through the gracious help of Miller-Jones Mortuary and Crematory, Inc., 26770 Murrieta Road, Sun City, Ca 92586. Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 8th. There will be a viewing at 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain, South Dakota 57326.
