Gary Lyle Quick

Gary Lyle Quick, 80 of Menifee, California passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, surrounded by his family.

Gary was born September 22, 1934 in Dove Creek, Colorado , he was the son of the late Richard Quick and the late Pauline Parker Quick.

Gary was a Longshoreman for 46 years, and known for his giving, caring and warm hearted nature. He never complained and was always there for his family and friends. Gary was one of the nicest human beings. He had such a love for life and enjoyed every day to the fullest. You would find him traveling, spending quality time with family and friends, enjoying 3 olive martini, stirred, not shaken, and finishing it off with a good meal and great time.

Through the years, Gary belonged to the Elks Club and several antique car clubs. When he was not enjoying cars, he was an avid gun collector and belonged to the NRA Association. Just like the classic cars, his favorite colors were, black, blue and silver. His favorite saying was "Hey, Babe,, he called everyone Babe, even his grandson.

Surviving are Beverly Quick Powers, Lori Quick, Gary Davis, Austin Davis, Dean Quick, Leslie Galli, Russ Galli, Vincent Galli, Raven Deharro. He was proceeded in death by his parents, son Steven, and little dog Chica.

A Funeral service will be at 11am on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Miller-Jones Mortuary - Sun City located at 26770 Murrieta Road Sun City, California 92586, with a reception to follow.
