George Halvorson, 98, of Hemet, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. Born Wednesday, November 27, 1912 in Amery Wisconsin. He was a Plant Foreman with Lockheed for 20 years. He was everyone's handyman, loved to do home improvement projects. He had a good sense of humore, a good story teller and was resourceful. He participated in the Ramona Play as a sheep Sheerer for over 35 years. He loved reading the news paper daily and was a big Dodgers fan. He is survived by his son Steve Halvorson of Oceanside, daughter Carole Halvorson of La Grande, OR. Services are pending and will be scheduled in 2011. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Ramona Bowl Association.
