George was a jack of all trades and loved the great outdoors. Gardening and yard work were favorite pastimes of Georges, as were working on cars and his beloved John Deere tractors. George loved worship and being involved in his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, He served as High Priest of the Order of Melchizedek in the Echo Hills Ward.
George was also a very talented organist, and was renowned for his smooth, seamless style on the keyboard. George loved animals of all kinds, but especially his dogs; his favorite was Brindle, an English pit-bull, and is survived by his beloved Faith, a border collie.
George will always be remembered for his kindness, talent, enthusiastic nature, handsome looks, and spirituality.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Lila Mason; his children Arnold Judd Mason, Kathy Ashby, Lorraine Kelly, Connie Cooley, and Steven Mason; his Sister Catherine Wilson; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
