

George was a star athlete in basketball, football, and track for Anderson High School. He began his military service with the US Air Force in 1956 and served his country for 20 years in the US, Italy, Korea, Greece, and Vietnam. After his service in Vietnam, George was stationed in Athens, Greece where he opened the first Tang Soo Do dojo, a form of Korean martial arts, in Athens. While in Athens, George's first child, Ronald Page, was born, he met and married his wife, Almaz Page, and they had their first daughter, Konjit Page. The family was joined by his "adopted daughters" Meseret and Eteneshe Mengesha. George retired from the US Air Force in 1976 and moved with his family to Sunnymead, CA in 1979, where his youngest daughter, Yenee Page Thomas was born, and where he began his career in investigation services.
George's greatest pride was his family. He touched everyone that he met through his humor, compassion, and generosity. George is survived by his wife, children, and his eight grandchildren, Ronald Page, Adrian Page, Natasha Page, Demetre Page, Joshua Thomas, Nia Flowers, Alazar Hailu, and Eyouel Hailu.
George's life will be honored and celebrated by the following services: A gathering and viewing from 4:00PM-8:00PM on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 1835 North Perris Blvd, Perris, CA 92571 (casket open for viewing from 6PM-8PM). Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Living Way Christian Fellowship, 12125 Day Street, Suite U101, Moreno Valley, CA 92557. Burial will be held at Riverside National Cemetery following the funeral services.
