Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2020 in Menifee, California surrounded by his loving family; he was born on May 31, 1944 in Maywood, California to the late Lewis and Loretta (McDermott) Beeson.
Gerald served in the US Navy from 1962 to 1966 in the Vietnam Wartime. After getting out of the service he worked for McDonald Douglas for a couple of years as a technician. He then went into the construction industry as a superintendent for the next 35 years. He enjoyed NASCAR, but his greatest joy in life was his family, he loved spending time with his family and watching his grandkids play sports.
He is survived by his loving wife Glenda; his children and their families, Sharece (Tom) Burgess and Steven (Naomi) Beeson; his brother James Ronald Beeson; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one on the way.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 4-8pm at Miller-Jones Mortuary 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, Ca 92586. A funeral service with Military Honors will be on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 1pm at Valley Christian Fellowship Church in Menifee. Interment will be private at Riverside National Cemetery.
