Gerald Edward Piearson

Jerry was born on September 1, 1955 in Rapid City, South Dakota to Donald and Marlene (Hylen) Piearson.

Jerry was the owner of Centerfire Firearms in Riverside, CA. He successfully ran the business for 18 years, serving his customers with quality merchandise, friendship and respect. His wife often said that the store was more like an old barbershop, where customers would come in, visit and exchange stories amongst themselves. Jerry loved traveling to Hawaii and taking cruises. His passion was attending USC Football games and watching College Football every Saturday during the season. Jerry was a “do it yourself” kind of guy, and loved doing projects around his home.

On September 27, 2012, Jerry married Lori Reta on the beautiful sandy beach of Waimanalo, Hawaii. Jerry and Lori continued to take yearly trips to “Their Little Piece of Paradise” so Jerry could relax and simply enjoy the view.

He is survived by his beloved wife Lori, his father Donald (Pat) Piearson of Rapid City, SD. his daughter Amy (Jose) Morga of Vista, Ca. brothers Mark (Lynette Martin) Piearson of Oceanside, Ca. and Randy (Cynthia) Piearson of Helena, MT., stepfather Paul Blocker, stepdaughters Brittney (Robert) San Miguel of Fort Worth, TX. Danielle Reissman of Hillsbrough, NC. and four grandchildren, Buffy and Westley Morga, Jason and Elizabeth Reissman. In-laws, Janet Reta, Joseph (Warren Webb) Reta, Susan (Chris) Delamotta, Sharon Carter and nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Marlene Hylen Blocker, his father-in-law Pete Reta, and his stepdaughter Michelle Rainville.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00AM at Miller-Jones Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd, Sun City, CA.
