Born May 23, 1926, in Black Diamond, Washington to Bertha and James Hogan. She married Lewis Ellis January 20th, 1946, and together they followed the oil industry up and down the coast of California and various overseas assignments while raising their three children, Claudine, Bill, and Jacquie. Later in life they raised cattle and goats on 20 acres in Perris, CA.
After Lewis died in 1998, Gloria moved to Sierra Dawn to be closer to her sister, Belle. There she looked forward to and enjoyed visits from her three children and many grandchildren, who are scattered across the United States. Always up for a bit of fun, and the very occasional glass of wine, those visits were always the stuff of great memories.
She is survived by her three children, her brother Robert Hogan, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on in them all.
