Harlan Herbert Brooks, age 70, passed away on October 27, 2016. Harlan was born in New York City, New York on Wednesday, September 25, 1946 to Bernard and Ruth Brooks. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. Harlan was a loving and dedicated nurse for more than 21 years, working with oncology patients for much of his career. He enjoyed spending time on his computer, swimming, bowling, and spending time with family and friends. Harlan is survived by his beloved sister, Jenny Blaser of Hemet. Graveside Services are scheduled for Friday, November 18, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Boulevard Riverside, CA 92518. Harlan touched many lives and will be truly missed by all those who were honored to know him and who loved him. Entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary
