Hazel Claire Wright

Hazel "Claire " Wright, 95 of Hemet, California passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Buena Vista Assisted Living in Hemet, California She was born on Thursday, September 17, 1925 in San Francisco, California , and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel Harry. Claire was very competitive and loved to play board games and card with the kids and friends. She also enjoyed going to weekly Bingo games in the area. Claire could also be found trying her luck at the local Soboba Casino where often times she walked away a winner. She just loved the atmosphere and the sounds in the room. Claire also enjoyed reading about astrology and the meaning of dreams. Claire was a devoted Christian and read her bible and underlined some of her favorite passages everyday. She liked to take her best friend, Ben her dog on walks all around the park when the weather was nice. Her family describes her as funny with a quick wit and family oriented. She will be missed by those that knew her and loved her. Proceeding in death was her daughter, Dorothy Gutierrez in June 2021. Surviving are her sons, John Wright ( Shannon); Gordon Wright ( Arlene );, and Thomas Wright ( Lori ) ; 9 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Services will be private at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
