Born Sunday, September 7, 1919 in Laramie, Wyoming to the late William and Elsie Stephens she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Paul Cook.
Helen was a joyful, faithful woman and very fiesty and tenancious. She was a talented music teacher and taught privately and publicly for over 75 years, finally retiring at age 90. She played piano for her church, First Christian in Oklahoma where her pastor referred to her as" 98 pounds of barbed wire".
She was a lovely woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are daughters, Phyllis Valens, Joyce Mercer, Ruth E. Powers and Lydia Benbrook, 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
