Helen Amelia McClain, age 91, passed away peacefully on Monday June 8, 2015. She was born in Columbiana, Ohio on Thursday, March 27, 1924 to Edward and Sarah Knight. Helen served as Past President of the Home Owners Association for Mountain Shadows as well as Past President of the Business and Professional Women's Association. She loved to travel and spent about 10 years traveling in the 5th Wheeler all across the United States with her beloved husband, Arthur before he passed away. Helen also enjoyed sewing, painting, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends. Helen is survived by her son, Daniel McClain; her daughter, Connie Denney; granddaughters, Judi and Cheryl; and great grandchildren, Christian, Kayla, Kyle, Colin, and Camden.
Helen touched many lives and will be truly missed by all those who were honored to know her and who loved her.
