H. Yolanda Villa, 52, left us on March 5th, 2019, with her family by her side at her Temecula residence after a four year battle with sarcoma cancer. Yolanda “Yoly” was born on January 24th, 1967, to her late father Manuel F. Villa and Martha Y. Villa. She graduated from High School and attended college at Mt. San Jacinto Community College and Cal State San Marcos, where she received education in Human Resources and Spanish Translation. She was passionate to help others and always proud of her Hispanic culture. Her latest job in the education field gave her endless satisfaction as well as the opportunity to expand her knowledge. Yoly took the role of being a mother in 1991; her ultimate desire was to raise her son Oscar to be a balanced, giving individual and do well in this world.
Her interests included quality time with family, reading, listening to music, movies, road trips, due to her passion for 50’s era and art deco she was often visiting antique shops and vintage stores. Since 2015 she devoted much of her time and energy to her one and only grandson. Her role as a grandmother was her pride and joy; she spent many hours playing with her “Baby Oscarito”. Yoly had a huge heart, always a people person and willing to listen to others, calm and humble personality, her charm and smile enlightened any given moment. She was a woman of faith, always trusting God’s will, her daily prayers were her strength, she never feared God’s plan, and she never complained of bad days, she always found the beauty of life.
She will be truly missed by all who loved her. She leaves behind; her beautiful mother Martha Villa, loving son Oscar Alvarez, adorable grandson Oscar, Sister Raquel Villa, and Brother Jesus Villa.
In lieu of flowers, prayers for the family would be very much appreciated.
