

Ida Mae Unfried, age 75 of Sun City, entered eternal rest on Friday, July 1, 2016, Born Saturday, November 2, 1940 in Hawthorne, California, she was the daughter of Charles Elliott and Viola Thompson Elliott.
Torrance, California was the hub of family activity for Miss Ida Mae, she raised her children there; filling their lives with love and fun. Her working life may have been tied to the Max Factor factory and then behind a desk working the finances at South Bay Volvo car dealership but, Ida Mae was a Free Spirit who loved to laugh and she was just naturally the life of the party, brightening every gathering with her presence. Exploring the west in the family motorhome or cruising to Cabo and Ensenada, Mexico were just natural extensions of her desire to be with family and live life fully. She moved to Sun City in 2007 because she loved it and it made it easier to be with her daughter, Tina and she loved nothing more than hanging out with her granddaughters.
Surviving are son, Randy Willyard and his wife, Robbin; daughter, Tina Faust and her husband, Chuck Faust; granddaughters, Jenna, Lacey and Leah Faust; sister Mary Alice Reline and brother-in-law, Don Reline; brother David Elliott and dogs, Angel and Sugar Bear.
Ida was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Charles Elliott and beloved companions Boomer and Peanut.
