Ivan Santiago

Born Saturday, April 14, 1962 in Chula Vista, California, he was the son of the late Arcadio Santiago and the late Rosina Bernes Santiago. After a year long struggle with cancer, Ivan passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015, surrounded by his family.

Ivan was hardworking and dedicated to his family. He was known for his humor and loving, kindhearted spirit. He enjoyed the extravagant, but also took pleasure in the simple things. He enjoyed spending time with his family watching movies, playing in the snow, and going to the beach. They also had a great time at car shows and car museums. In his spare time, you would find him restoring cars, reading car magazines, or watching car restoration shows. Ivan's passion

for cars was evident from the moment you met him.

Family and friends were very important to Ivan along with his church family at Cornerstone Community Church. His favorite saying was "it is what it is". 2nd Timothy 4:7 describes how Ivan lived his life: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith".

He was preceded in death by his brother, Ivory. He is survived by his loving wife Alisha, daughter Marisela, brothers Irving and Johnny, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
