Jack Leo Fraze, 86, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 in Murrieta, California. Jack was born Sunday, April 23, 1933 in Winchester, Indiana. He is survived by the love of his life, Christa (nee Pfeuffer) Fraze, his children and spouses: Christa (Ken) Biddle, Jon (Sheryll) Fraze, and Mark (Nancy) Fraze, in addition to his three grandchildren: Dylan and Trevor Biddle, and Jaclyn Fraze. Born to his late parents; Clyde Leo Fraze and Miriam Lois (nee Jones) Fraze, it was his mother, Miriam, who raised him to lead a full Christian life. As our moral and spiritual leader, he was known to his family by many names: Jack, husband, Dad, Vati, Grandpa, and Opa. Jack felt it was his greatest accomplishment and good fortune to have met and been married to Christa Fraze for nearly 65 years, raising their children to be "fine terrific adults". He was a veteran, entering the Army in 1952 where he advanced his interest in radio and electronics, serving with the Army Signal Corps. Returning to civilian life in 1955, he continued his training in electronics while working at night, eventually finding a career in aerospace. In 1976, after many years of commitment to complete his education, Jack earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University at Long Beach. He accomplished his dream of physically building a home that he and Christa designed. His other interests included photography, reading, gardening, acrylic painting, woodcraft, camping, hiking, and the great outdoors. He had the ability to fix and build anything. Additionally, he wrote his life story as a legacy for each child, something we all treasure. He felt that throughout his life, he had been blessed beyond all that anyone could possibly desire. Even as he is now with Jesus, Jack's kindness, steadfast spirit, and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him. We miss and love you dearly. Jack will be interred at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California. In lieu of flowers, donations to Christ the Vine Lutheran Church, 29581 N General Kearny Road, Temecula, CA 92591 would be appreciated.
