James Delmont

Jim devoted more than 50 years to this valley in raising his daughter and helping raise his grand children. Jim was born in High Grove raising two sons in Grand Terrace. He retired from So Cal Gas Co. in 1987 after more than 30 years.

He was a loving father and grandfather. Jim was married to the love of his life for more than 63 years Betty Jean Delmont who passed away on June 17 2006 He is survived by His Sons Larry Delmont and wife Barbara of Victorville Ca. his son Gary Delmont and wife Beverly of Ogden Utah his Daughter Lyndell Malone and son in law Bruce of San Jacinto Ca. And Sister Peggy Swearingen and her husband Sonny

Jim has 8 grand children 5 great grand kids and 4 great, great grand children.

He loved to hunt and fish he was an avid trap and skeet shooter with many years at the Hemet trap Club. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. He was the son of the Late Raymond and Wanita (Ross) Delmont.

The Family will receive friends from 9:30 AM. Tuesday August 16th 2016 at Miller Jones Hemet Mortuary Located at 1501 W. Florida Ave Hemet Ca. Followed by a funeral Service at 10:30 AM. A reception from 11:30 to 1:00PM. Then a graveside service at 2:00 PM. Riverside National Cemetery Riverside Ca.
