

Born Saturday, April 7, 1926.He was the husband of Elizabeth McIntyre Faunce for 61 years.
He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and stormed the beaches of Normandy with his fellow patriots on D-Day.
James had a love of nature and enjoyed hunting and fishing. James also liked to fix up old cars in his garage at home and had an uncanny ability to identify the makes and models of cars on the spot.
James was a kind, humble man who loved God above all else and deeply cherished his family.
He is survived and remembered by his wife, Elizabeth (McIntyre) Faunce, daughter Patricia Singh ( Narjit Singh), sisters, Lois Anthony and Donna Kemp, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Laura Lee Lockwood and granddaughter Amber Elizabeth Abney.
A Funeral service will be at 12:30 PM on Thursday at Riverside National Cemetery located at 22495 Van Buren Blvd. Riverside, California 92518. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
The family will receive friends from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Thursday, August 11, 2011, at Miller-Jones Hemet Mortuary, 1501 W Florida Ave , Hemet, California .
