

James Harry Swanson, 55 of San Jacinto, California passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014, at home surrounded by family. He was born on Friday, June 5, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio, and was the son of James and Betty "Kirby" Swanson. He was the husband of the love of his life for 10 years to Tammy "Groves" Swanson. Jim was a proud member of the Riverside County Sheriffs Department for 27 years. He loved being a Sheriff and was part of the Mounted Posse in Norco for many years. He then served in many positions with the department. Jim loved to travel with Tammy and their favorite spots were Oahu and Maui. Outdoors were no stranger to Jim, he worked hard and played hard. He and Tammy could be found scuba diving off Catalina Island, Jim loved to cook steak and eat chocolate. He was a genius with electronic gadgets and fixing computers. He also enjoyed watching the series Lonesome Dove., His family describes him as just a wonderful father and husband. Surviving is his wife, Tammy Swanson, father James (Phyllis) Swanson, mother Betty & Lynn Rogers, son, Darin (Shannon ) Errington, daughters, Jennifer ( Scott ) Vogel, Krissy ( KJ ) Gonzales and Dawn Swanson, brother, Mike ( Wendy) Swanson, sister, Debbie (Mark) Shisila, grandchildren Destiny Sevilla, Kaylee Vogel, Parker Vogel, Mason Errington and Ean Thompson.
