Jan Fuller

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Christine Howard Fuller, son Andrew and daughter, Kirsten, two grandchildren, Michael and Rebecca Abyratne and his sister Jean Fuller.

As a land surveyor was employed by several civil engineering firms, including Neste, Brudin, and Stone, Hemet, Raub, Bein & Frost, Orange County and Colorado and Nevada. He was a licensed surveyor in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado. His surveying career included many housing developments including Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Aurora CO, and Highland Springs CO.

Jan volunteered for many years as a Boy Scout Leader in Orange County. He loved teaching the scouts mapping skills and hiking in the local mountains. In addition he did volunteer work at Winchester Elementary School and the Hemet Alumni Association.

After moving back to Hemet in the 1990’s, Jan and his family continued hiking and visiting new places in their Baja trailer. In addition, Jan and his wife Christine traveled to over 30 states, Europe and Central America.

In Jan’s memory, the family is asking for contributions to Arbor Hospice, Hemet.
