Jeanette Lucille Goble was born in Williamsville, New York on Sunday, November 25, 1928 to Axel and Dagmar Hedstrom. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 3, 2014 in the City of Hemet, California.
According to Jeanette, her years as a child in the countryside of New York were filled with adventure. She was somewhat of a tomboy growing up. She once carried a box of snakes into the house and claimed she could skin a snake. Her own children held her to it and found it to be true.
In her early years, Jeanette was known to her family as a fun-loving and compassionate person. She enjoyed the outdoors and often instigated mischievous deeds along with her children. She was known for taking in those who did not have a place to stay.
As most who knew Jeanette they knew she was a talented painter and particularly liked to paint children and nature. She loved to make crafts and was very meticulous, even with crippling arthritis. When she was able she taught many craft classes.
While living in Pico Rivera, California, Jeanette taught Sunday School for many years at Homewood Community Church. While living in Hemet, as her health permitted, she enjoyed attending church services at the Salvation Army Worship Center. She loved God and wished for all to know the Lord and of His great love for them.
Jeanette will be missed by her husband, Melvin. To mourn her passing but cherish the wonderful memories of their Mother will be her sons, Luis (wife Renita) and Larry (wife Roberta) and her daughter, Pat Solorio (husband Gil). She will be forever remembered by her ten grandchildren, Christopher, Marisa, Dana, Chad, Brad, Heather, Anthony, Paul, Jeff and Charlie. Feeling a great loss as well, will be her 8 great grandchildren and her nephews and niece; Kenny, Richard.and Kristine.
Jeanette touched many lives and will be truly missed by a host of extended family members and friends and all those who were honored to know her and who loved her.
