

Jerome's Charles Fields “Jerry” was born to Herbert and Alyce Fields in Chicago, Illinois on March 8, 1936. After a long and valiant fight with lung cancer, he left this earth on January 7, 2019 at 1:05 AM with his wife Marilyn by his side.
Jerry was an electronic engineer and loved all things associated with electronics. He had a varied career beginning as a recording engineer for Chess Records and a designer for Marvin Glass toy design in the 1960’s. His new passion turned to computers when they hit the scene in the early 80’s and from then on he was always associated with them as a hardware and software engineer.
Jerry and Marilyn met in Phoenix in 1985 and were married on April 22,1989 in San Diego and retired to Hemet in 2006. Jerry loved living in Four Seasons and often remarked that these were the best years of his life.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Marilyn and three children: Craig Fields, Orlando FL, Cory (Deborah) Fields, Las Vegas NV, and Kim (Scott) Knight, Norfolk VA. He is also survived by three stepsons, Don Little, Pahrump, NV, Greg Little, Menifee CA and Mark (Judy) Little, Pleasant Hill, CA. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
